"Quick, Professional, and Friendly Assistance"
I got a speedy reply to my question regarding trouble placing my order. The items showed up yesterday, with a duty fee that was expected, but not too high (Thanks, Canada). Although I haven't tested it yet, I've seen enough gym equipment to tell this set seems solid and nicely made. I'm planning to take it with me on my trip next month so I can stay in shape while I'm gone.

"Excited to see this business thriving!"
I recently got my BGR after totally forgetting to support the crowdfunding effort. It's awesome to witness how well the company did during the campaign and then actually followed through on their commitments, especially considering how tough it must have been for new ventures.
The product is super sturdy, made with high-quality materials (except for the bag, which I think they got a bit of a raw deal on, but they seem to know about it from the updates). Honestly, I don’t even need the bag.
The pull-up bar is a fantastic addition! I can’t do a pull-up yet, but I noticed another customer posted a video showing how to adjust the bar for practicing pull-ups and that tricky muscle-up. I’ll take it one step at a time 😉
All in all, I’m really happy and thrilled to see this company, (which I think is just one dude?) doing so well.

"Decent product but way too pricey..."
This product has some decent features, but honestly, it's way overpriced - there are much better and cheaper alternatives out there.
I really wish I hadn’t bought the BGR back in September '22. It’s about £50 too much. If you’re looking for something better at a similar price, check out the Recoil S2. The strap system on that one is way more effective and smoother. With the BGR, I’m always worried the strap mechanism might break when I use it. Plus, the build quality of the BGR just doesn’t compare to the Recoil S2. It’s heavier and bulkier, and the bag it comes with feels cheap and flimsy, like it could rip any second. In contrast, the S2’s bag is high quality and even doubles as a door anchor. Speaking of door anchors, the one that comes with the BGR is pretty weak, much worse than what you’d get with the cheapest resistance band kits on Amazon.
But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom. The grips on the BGR are really where it shines, but sadly, that doesn’t make up for its shortcomings in other areas (like the strap units, door anchor, bag, and bar). They’re grippy and have a nice adjustable strap for suspension trainer exercises where you’re using your feet instead of your hands.
This is where the BGR does best, as a suspension trainer. Still, it’s quite heavy and has an awkward bulky shape if you want to travel with it in its so-called 'compact' form (minus the rings and bar). And let’s not forget that cheap mesh bag! Most suspension trainers are lighter and more compact. Even the heavier Recoil S2 has a better shape in its bag and is probably lighter too.
To wrap it up, it’s an interesting concept on paper, but it doesn’t really deliver in practice. There are way better choices out there. If you buy a separate set of gymnastic wooden rings with numbered straps (around £40) and a suspension trainer (about £100), you’ll end up spending less than on the BGR. Together, they’ll likely be lighter and less bulky, plus you might get better quality bags to carry your gear!
I’d suggest going for gymnastic rings or a suspension trainer, or even both. If you’re after something 'similar' to the BGR at the same price, definitely choose the Recoil S2. It’s pricey, but it’s way more worth it than the BGR.

"My order was meant to arrive on December 23rd, 2022, but I still don't have it"
I still don’t have my order, and it was supposed to show up on December 23rd. My local Post Office is clueless, and I can’t even dig up the email with the tracking info. I really want to know if my product is coming or if I should just cancel the payment.

"My Experience with BGR After 3 Weeks"
I've been using BGR for roughly three weeks now. It's a fantastic product! I'd definitely purchase it again if I need to, and I’d suggest BGR to my friends!

"You gotta have it, no doubt!"
Fantastic set and I was informed about the delivery schedule. This has truly transformed my training and I'm excited to challenge myself further.

"A Satisfying Conclusion After a Long Wait"
I got this product (put money into its development) almost two years back (give or take) through Indiegogo. It’s been a long journey, and I bet David felt the same frustration as a lot of his backers.
Anyway, he’s crafted and sent out a top-notch item that I hope will last, so in the end, it’s all good.
Because of the season and (importantly) the absence of suitable trees (I live near the coast and never really thought about this), I’ve only tried it indoors so far, just to make sure everything’s working and to learn how to set it up for later. Can’t wait for Spring to roll around, find better anchor spots (there’s a kids' adventure park close by), and really put it to the test.
Why four stars instead of five? Mainly due to the long wait, some communication hiccups, and now that I have the product, I reckon some video guides would be super helpful for beginners like me.

"BGR: A Product That Works from a Person Who Delivers"
I don’t often get the chance to rate the head honcho of a company, so I’m hoping my take as a former backer and now a totally happy BGR user can be of some help.
Along with a solid product design and a practical plan to bring it to life, David excels at managing what folks expect through regular and easy communication.
The only moment I felt a bit uneasy was back in April when my BGR was about to be assembled and shipped. My worry stemmed from moving to a new place over the summer, and I was anxious that my BGR might get lost in the shuffle. But David took the time to personally reassure me through private emails, explaining the Backer Kit options that were coming out, just days before he shared the same info with all the other backers on Indie Go-Go.
Thanks a ton, David, for going the extra mile for me. I know you’ve put in a lot of effort for many others on this journey too.
Keep in mind your strengths and what’s made you successful, and let’s hope you don’t have to learn the hard way from BGR again.
Wishing you all the best, my friend.

"Decent item, but the 'bag' was misrepresented"
Awesome product, but I was really let down by the 'bag' that came with the BGR. I thought I’d get a real backpack made for the BGR, not just a flimsy mesh bag that hardly holds everything and is a pain to lug around.

"My bar grips and rings set"
I own a set of bar grips and rings. They really enhance my home workout routine. What I particularly appreciate is how easily you can adjust the height and switch between various pieces of gear. It's way simpler to handle than comparable equipment, plus it offers the flexibility to mix things up.

"Awesome product!"
This item is fantastic. However, the delivery took forever, and I've never experienced such a slow shipping time.
"Game Changer!"
It's just incredible how simple it is to get this thing ready and fine-tune it for whatever workout you're aiming for. Super easy to carry around. Truly a game changer.

"Just got my BGR kit and I'm really into it!"
I just got my BGR kit and I'm really into it! The ability to switch from bars to rings and the simple height adjustments are amazing. I can perform a whole range of exercises using just this one piece of equipment. My grandkids are super excited to come over again and give it a go with grandpa since it's also great for kids. Totally worth the money for my home gym!

"Fantastic Business"
They really went the extra mile to make sure the items arrived up to the quality promised on the Kickstarter page. You can't overlook this, since a lot of Kickstarter ventures are quick to compromise on the final product's quality just to ship something out to customers.

"My BGR Experience: A Game Changer for Workouts"
A few weeks back, I got my hands on the BGR, and let me tell you, it’s quickly become my go-to workout gear, right up there with my 40kg adjustable kettlebell. The moment I watched the first demo video, I was sold, even though I already owned a couple of pairs of rings, straps, and a bunch of other equipment. I could just tell that the BGR would take the place of a lot of that stuff. You can really see the craftsmanship in the BGR; it’s clear that only true enthusiasts could create something like this, and honestly, it’s even better than what I expected for the price I paid. The bar has full-length firm padding, giving you a comfy grip no matter how you hold it. Plus, it comes with two 1-meter attachment straps that have multiple loops, making it easy to hang on any size attachment points. You can use these with the bar, handles, or rings for isometric exercises, which I’ve already found super useful, even if the creators might not have thought of all the possibilities. The rings are the larger wooden type, which gives a solid grip and makes the false grip more comfortable. The retractable strap units come with built-in carabiners and work just as I hoped, allowing for quick height adjustments without the hassle of tangled straps. No more wasting time unrolling or trying to get everything lined up! The handles are sturdy too, featuring a durable textured grip and foot loops. Now, the net bag that comes with it probably won’t last forever, especially since I’m always on the move, but I’ve got other backpacks that work better for transport. Maybe David and his team could think about offering a dedicated carry bag in the future. What’s equally impressive is how David and his crew managed to keep their integrity during all the craziness of the past few years. They communicated well through all the delays that were out of their control and kept their promises regarding design, product quality, logistics, and shipping costs. I’m really looking forward to many fun and productive workouts with my BGR!
